In addition to having the blahs, I was also dealing with chronic pain in my back and right shoulder the past few weeks. While it is generally true that growth lies outside of your comfort zone, that most certainly cannot be applied to your office setup?? I realized that it has been since 2022 since I upgraded my space and decided that it was well overdue to give my workspace a makeover! During the week of 4th of July, I decided to put the time off to good use: → Elevated my laptop - no more craning my neck → Invested in a new chair for better back support → Got a rug with better grip (so my chair doesn't roll me all around!) → Upgraded my webcam and ring light (hello HD!) → Cleaned out clutter (aka notebooks, stray post it notes) Upgrading your workspace can keep things fresh, boost your creativity, and make time spent working more enjoyable. It's not just about comfort; it's about taking care of yourself and setting up your "support" systems - your back, neck, and eyes will thank you! ??
