Rethinking maintenance and stewardship. The number of ideas shared and discussed at FOOTPRINT+ earlier this month was inspiring, empowering, even reassuring - and overwhelming at times (although the location right on the Thames was the perfect place to take a break!) However, despite the importance of innovation and genius ideas around using and wasting less, retrofitting more, nature-based solutions, lower carbon materials, a recurring message was the need for end users to operate and maintain buildings, nature and places correctly.
