I love seeing professionals in the graphics and signage market that truly know what they're doing...and Adam Segura is one of the best. I've been blessed enough to know lots of installation pros over my nearly 45 years in the industry. Some of these professionals are just "working for a living", doing what's required but little more. But I love it when I get to connect with true craftsmen. People that think "what's required" is just the bare minimum for what is possible and easily doable in any situation. In working with signage vinyls, digital print and architectural finishes, the one skill that sets the craftspeople completely apart from the run-of-the-mill installer is a skill that I simply can't teach...you either have it or you don't. That skill is professionalism...and defining that skill is tougher than you might think. Being a professional is the key to achieving the highest quality results, while impressing and inspiring those around you, all while feeling good about yourself. While I've come across a large number indicators that point towards professionalism, it's my belief that there are eight core traits of real professionalism. Those traits are:?Technical Competence, Industry Knowledge, Conscientiousness, Integrity, Respect, Emotional Intelligence, Sense of Appropriateness, and Confidence.
