This Spring and Summer I have had the chance to speak to top comms professionals at events in NYC, SF and Seattle with Mixing Board and Shallot Communications. These are different?markets but the same?themes came up at each event and solidify what KC Partners is seeing in the market. --It has never been more critical?that you have the right comms leaders in place in this ever changing world. --What a comms leader was responsible for years?ago is not the same today. The function is always expanding to cover everything from narrative building, media relations, content creation and beyond. --While budgets may be tight right now, they will come back and you want to be ready to scale your comms function in the right?way. --The hiring process is changing. It's longer and more people are involved. This means more opinions on who gets the job but it's also a thorough?process where candidates can get a deeper understanding?of the role, people, culture?and more. #commshiring #kcpartners #commstalent

We're HIRING! In the spirit of the team, here's why you might (and might not) want to work with us: ??????: - We're responsible for building out the story of Qualtrics, the long-lasting and legacy building nature of the org, it's AI-centricity, and the way it's giving our customers access to data (and therefore actions) they've never had before, and what it means for the people who work here. - We sit in the People team as an independent arm of the org. So we partner with TA, PR, Internal Comms, Marketing, and many others, but have autonomy by being nested directly under our Chief People Officer - We have a fairly engaged group of people around the world, making our focus on employee generated content one that's been pretty simple to fulfill. - We're focused on multi-touch attribution models for measuring success. While most teams are still focused on "source of hire," we're focused on "brand influence" and seeing that our candidates have interacted with the brand - not just that they applied in the moment - meaning you have a much clearer measure of your success at work. ??????: - We've had a lot of change as an organization - especially over the last year. Our wider team can still be finding its footing again, so sometimes making employee content doesn't resonate. - We're super focused as a business - so you have to go in with your "A game" to get folks to buy in to partnering or doing things like Content Collective. It's not a given. - Folks at Qualtrics are big on understanding *why* - why we're doing something, why something will work, why XYZ hasn't been done. I put it down to the folks we've hired - they're successful, engaged, and used to being some of the best people in the places they work. But it also means you'll get challenged in ways you might not have before. It's fun, but can be hard. - We run out of Caesar salad in Provo obscenely early on a Monday.
