The developmental process of becoming one of the best strategic customer success ambassadors is through learning and relearning. CustomerSuccessU.org has created a lifetime learning technique from the fundamental stage to becoming a Certified Customer Success Specialist (CCSS) professional. I was surprised to be added to the CustomerSuccessU.org community. This means a lot to me because I will not only learn to become a customer success management specialist, but I will also be part of the strategic community and get to learn from other professional captains of a large sea of knowledge. These are my takeaways: Strategy: I have learnt the act of strategising and understanding the importance of creating the best line of futuristic plans by interfacing with customers. Departmental synergy: Liaising with other departments to understand those who are truly customer-centric in nature, even when they are not customer care personnel but their hunger and zeal are to see others smile. Converting Negative Situation: Converting negative situations to standardised feedback can act as a conduit to ways and means of an operationalized process of working and also product improvement. Interpersonal Relationship & Work-Life Balance: This is really about me. As a workaholic, I always want to get issues resolved, and because of this, I pay less attention to myself as a result of trying to meet the delivery period. I love it when it is perfect and when a table is clean, Even when I know that a clean table is a mirage, more work will always come. I learnt to strike a balance and still achieve the same targeted milestone by using a network of interpersonal relationships in the office. I'm so happy! ?? I look forward to more refresher training and knowledge impartation from the CustomerSuccessU.org community. Cheers!

After a few months of exploring possibilities for my next career adventure, I've discovered the answer to the question of what I'm looking for - what will fill my cup in my next role. The answer: joy. I am a mission-driven leader. There are so many worthy nonprofits and corporate brands out there that fit my requirement of making the world a better place. But what will make the "right" opportunity stand out to me? What will motivate me to show up and give 110% every day, and leave me fulfilled at the end of a hard week? Joy. A mission and purpose and people who are filled with joy when they come to work, when they face tough challenges, and when they look at the output and outcomes of their efforts. Not familiar with this? Take a look at this post from All Access Life and you'll see what I mean. The world can be an ugly place, and when you look around to notice all the brokenness that needs our help it can get lonely and hopeless pretty fast. To date, I've had the good fortune to find organizations that either led with joy or allowed me to discover and build and amplify that joy internally and with their audiences. There's nothing like it. So employers, if you find joy in your work, in your mission and purpose, I want to talk to you. If you're looking to scale and need help building a team that believes in your purpose and shows up fully committed for that purpose, let me know. We just might make great partners.
