This latest resource follows the Fall 2023 Tenets & Principles of EdTech Trialing Networks & Environments resource ( https://lnkd.in/diKef5ww) outlined a new shared language to drive a modernized and equity-centered approach to conducting EdTech R&D in learning environments. The report includes a summary of the barriers to and benefits of a more robust innovation infrastructure and the guiding ideas – four tenets and ten principles – necessary to yield unprecedented breakthroughs in the field. The Global Edtech Trialing Network is a collaborative effort supported by the Jacobs Foundation to advance best practices in the field of edtech co-development and evaluation through “testbeds” or authentic school environments in which to trial emerging education technologies.

It has been a long time since I last hosted a Learning Lab - life got busy! - but I am going to be doing so next Fri 22 Nov... For those that have never been to a Learning Lab, they are part business network, part community of practice. Online, and free (other than your time). As participants, we work in very different fields and have diverse experience…but the golden thread that pulls us together is a need to connect with others working towards their own meaning and purpose, and interested in learning, unlearning, synergising our work, and making sense of the greater contexts within which we live and work. Learning Labs are informal, creative, safe and supportive spaces for like-hearted people to meet from all over the world to share wisdom, ideas, dreams and failures. Included in every session is the opportunity to 'network' - to share what it is you do and love to do and the type of connections and input you currently need; a talk or workshop on a topic of interest to us all; and the opportunity to dialogue and learn together.
