Starting Fall 2025, #UTSA will expand eligibility for the Bold Promise tuition assistance program?to?Texas families earning up to $100,000, thanks to a $35 million investment from The University of Texas System. This initiative, supported by the UT System Board of Regents, removes financial barriers for more students pursuing their academic dreams. Since its launch in 2020, Bold Promise has transformed lives, providing full tuition and mandatory fee coverage to over 5,000 Roadrunners. The results speak for themselves: 300 graduates from our first cohort achieved an impressive 3.37 average GPA, with 67% being first-generation college students. With this expanded eligibility, we'll help hundreds?of?additional students annually reach their educational goals. The University of Texas System is expanding its free tuition program so undergraduate students whose families make $100,000 or less will receive free tuition and fees starting next fall.

CSF Scholars finish high school, and directly enroll in and graduate from college, at higher rates than other low-income students. High schoolers who work with advisors are over 3x more likely to attend college than those who don’t. They’re also almost 7x more likely to fill out the FAFSA. This research is backed by the National College Attainment Network, and it is statistics like these that reinforce the need for organizations like SOAR Virginia. In honor of National Mentoring Month this January, I am excited to highlight one of Commonwealth Savers’ education access program, SOAR Scholars, and the benefits participating students receive: ? One-on-one advising on continuing education, FAFSA completion and financial aid ? Scholarship support of up to $2,000 ? Starting Position: Elliot came to Fortis Education having spent several years preparing for the 7+ examinations with another tutor and had failed all of his 7+ examinations in London. Confidence was very low. ?? Fortis Tuition: We started with granular assessment to identify the specific gaps in Elliot’s foundation skills. It was important to pinpoint the weaknesses and the reasons for the 7+ outcomes. We then created a programme to fill those academic gaps and build on the solid foundation, build the relationship to master the top level skills needed to impress examiners at the 8+ competitive London day schools. ?? Results: Elliot received offers at the 8+ from Sussex House School, Saint Paul’s Junior School, Kings College Junior School and Westminster Under School (WUS). Elliot chose Westminster.? Following successful 8+ preparations, we continued support in readiness for the 11+ examinations and he was offered places at Latymer Upper School, Kings College School, Westminster Great School, Eton College, Charterhouse and Wellington College. ????
