Celebrating another successful year of expanding our signature program, The Tech Challenge, across the globe to Kenya! The Tech Challenge Kenya: Rock the Ravine brought together over 2,300 students in grades 5 through Form 4 (Grade 12) to showcase their design challenge skills. Teams were awarded for their outstanding achievements in categories such as device performance and design process (Plus some great prizes from local and international sponsors Autodesk, iXAfrica Data Centres, RIFT KODERS, Kuza, Moringa School, ARC Ride and KPMG)! The perseverance these students brought to this engineering challenge was truly inspiring. Behind these bright young innovators stood an army of educators, supporters, volunteers and judges who traveled for hours, fueled by their belief in these talented young people. We wanted to give a special thank you to our key staff and board members: Shital Patel, Sherry Burch, Elissa Stankiewicz, Katrina Stevens, Milo F., Shikoh Gitau, Bill Heil and Jerry Held, as well as numerous other committed U.S. and Kenyan-based staff and partners for all their hard work. After this weekend, one thing was clear: the future of our world – from Silicon Valley to Kenya and beyond – is in capable hands. But the journey doesn't end here. The Tech Challenge is returning to its roots in San Jose, CA! Registration for The Tech Challenge 2025 is now open. Visit thetech.org/challenge and sign up your team of young engineers today! #TechChallenge #STEAM #STEM #Innovation #Kenya #STEAMEducation #LearnFromFailure #DesignChallengeLearning
