As soon as you get your mail, divide it into three piles: - Trash: ??? (Junk mail—just toss it immediately!) - Pay/Handle: ???? (Bills or things you need to take care of. This is your “adulting” pile.) - File: ?? (Stuff you need to keep, but don’t let it get lost in a drawer!) Why? ?? If you just stuff everything in a drawer, it’s easy to forget important documents and miss paying bills on time. This can lead to a lot of stress and unnecessary headaches! 2?? Deal with the Trash: ?? Get rid of it right away. No need for junk mail to hang around! 3?? Organize the Rest: ?? Pay/Handle: Use a bin or folder labeled “Pay/Call.” Take care of these within 48 hours. File: Put items that need filing into a folder labeled “To File,” and make sure to file them away before you go to bed. ??? When was the last time you won something? Maybe it was an award for a contribution at work. Maybe it was a few dollars on a lottery ticket. My guess is that if you looked at all three of those winning examples I shared above, the one that would make you feel the best was an award for a contribution at work. Why? Because you played a role in making that happen. It wasn’t simply something that happened to you because you were in the right place at the right time. At Mailbox Project, we like to win. But winning isn't just about securing a contract in the mail and package delivery or signage installation, repair, and maintenance space. It's about the accomplishment that comes from knowing we've delivered beyond expectations, making a real difference in someone's day or enhancing a community. For us, a win is when a customer tells us how much easier their life has become because of the mailbox system we installed or when a neighborhood lights up with smiles, seeing their new wayfinding and community signs.
