When was the last time you won something? Maybe it was an award for a contribution at work. Maybe it was a few dollars on a lottery ticket. Maybe your name came up in a drawing, and you won a door prize. With any of these analogies, it probably felt good. Admit it—winning feels good. But, some wins can feel better than others. My guess is that if you looked at all three of those winning examples I shared above, the one that would make you feel the best was an award for a contribution at work. Why?
