On Ep. 121 of Time Sensitive, the novelist, essayist, and cultural critic Jonathan Lethem, author of the new book “Cellophane Bricks: A Life in Visual Culture” (ZE Books), discusses his passion for book dedications; the time he spent with James Brown and Bob Dylan, respectively, when profiling them for Rolling Stone in the mid-aughts; how his writing is, in part, a way of dealing with and healing from with his mother’s death in 1978, at age 36; and why he views his work as “fundamentally commemorative.” Listen at timesensitive.fm or wherever you get your podcasts ??

An insightful podcast — and as much as I agree with the implications of this book (including Charles Murray’s other books like human diversity and facing reality), however, we as a firm have a complementary POV about the root causes?and how to fix them?( the missing link as correctly pointed out by both of them) Our firm's scientific, reality accurate, race/worldview neutral point of view, hopefully helps us to restart this sensitive "race stereotyped IQ conversation", so that we can solve it as one integrated/united?team! Before I go into the details, first,?here is the summary 1. Root cause of bell curve Alpha factor (aka fine structure constant or FSC/GR's 2/3 & 1/3 rule of nature/quantum mechanics deciding this biological genetics. In other words, this 2/3 ( or 70%) factor decides every one of our “life purpose or calling appropriate IQ/EQ” -- which is what is spread across all races. Turns out, scriptures of both west and east call it as election factor of Bible (or Guru/Rishi factor of east). (Note : The reason for the high?IQ gap is due to us comparing apples to oranges — meaning measuring an IQ of a person ( say with?a pastoral/priesthood election/calling) using?a scientific IQ yardstick of another person ( with a scientist election/calling). In other words,??one size IQ yardstick doesn’t fit all 2. Solution: It is a 2 part (nature and nurture solution) Nature part?: Help every child?early on in life, to discover their life purpose or election?(including its appropriate IQ ) by discerning the so called reality blueprint of nature?( aka sovereignty or cosmic karma or al-Malik blueprint of nature in worldview neutral philosophical language) as nature has designed every one of our calling in a complementary manner (like a jigsaw puzzle). See below for details Nurture part : Design a personalized purpose discovery/execution roadmap( with an IQ/EQ appropriate education curriculum) to accomplish it One of the best ways to accomplish?this two part solution?is what we as a firm call as an "integrated reformation in partnership with leaders from all disciplines, races?and worldviews", in an united/integrated manner as explained below in details (Note : Part of the inspiration for this POV comes from my mixed multiracial missionary/military ancestral heritage from the British commonwealth 3-5 generations ago(Indian/Irish/Jewish/SA roots), who were involved in translating scripture/literature from European languages into Asian/African languages and vice-versa) With that said, let us dive deeper without any further ado below via my multi-part comment?in the you tube video below?(https://lnkd.in/g8Mjx6rA) ?

3 BODY PROBLEM – Are you watching this show? If not, you should be. It has the intelligence of Oppenheimer and the wonder of HEROES. The writing is so BRILLIANT. An American TV series based on the book was released by Netflix, with David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo writing and executive producing.[58] It was released on 21 March 2024. Thank you to Renie Oxley, who is taking my 6-Week Teleseminar, for telling me about it. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss share that the show is about people finding a community and family that is not their biological family. They do such a fantastic job of grounding it through the characters. I love that it starts with a conflicted familial dynamic with the wound. The Three-Body Problem (Chinese: 三体; lit. 'Three-Body') is a story by Chinese science fiction author Liu Cixin. It is the first novel in the Remembrance of Earth's Past trilogy.[1] The series portrays a fictional past, present, and future in which Earth encounters an alien civilization from a nearby system of three sun-like stars orbiting one another, a representative example of the three-body problem in orbital mechanics. The story was initially serialized in Science Fiction World in 2006 before being published as a standalone book in 2008.[2] In 2006, it received the Galaxy Award (Yínhé Jiǎng) for Chinese science fiction.[3] In 2012, it was described as one of the genre's most successful novels of the previous two decades.[4] The English translation by Ken Liu was published by Tor Books in 2014.[5] That translation was the first novel by an Asian writer to win a Hugo Award for Best Novel;[6][7] it was also nominated for the Nebula Award for Best Novel. #writer #writing #netflixseries #3bodyproblem #brilliant

?? The Futuristic Insights of Science Fiction Writers ??? Ever doubted the prophetic power of science fiction writers? Take a trip down memory lane with a rewatch of The X-Files! ?? This 90s drama remains a timeless masterpiece, showcasing excellence in every aspect of production, particularly writing and acting. ?? The series delves into themes that are now at the forefront of our collective consciousness. From A.I. to parapsychological phenomena and government conspiracies, The X-Files was ahead of its time. ???♂? But here's the mind-bending twist: many of these concepts weren't new at all. Writers as far back as Jules Verne, Lovecraft, and Edgar Allan Poe were exploring similar themes decades earlier. ?? And here's some "out there" food for thought: EEG studies from the 1970s suggest that inventing shares an uncanny similarity with remembering. So, did these writers foresee the future, shape it, or perhaps, remember it? ?? As we ponder the mysteries of creativity and imagination, let's tip our hats to the visionary minds who continue to inspire and provoke thought. ??? The X-Files is an American science fiction drama television series created by Chris Carter. https://lnkd.in/gJYupHTY #ScienceFiction #TheXFiles #Creativity #Imagination #Innovation #FutureThinking #FoodForThought

My first experience writing a fiction novel focusing on how many people chase the idea of “being productive” to justify their hurried lives, without realizing that they are missing out on the actual experience of living.
