There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to stewarding donors. As communities continue to become more diverse, our communications and engagement should follow. For more great advice on stewarding diverse groups, check out Rochelle's article from CharityVillage "Stats, Stewardship and the Modern Donor." https://bit.ly/3mH5i48

So many business owners could get behind a project such as this. These developments going up everywhere in Truro, but I have not heard anything about affordable housing in the mix. There are so many of our families, friends and neighbours are homeless with not enough beds. Folks don't need a great big space...only big enough for a bed, small kitchen area and a bathroom with a sink, toilet and upright shower. This would get people out of the cold and off the street for the winter. Have the Town donate some land for a project, donations of materials to build from local businesses, volunteers to come together with their skills. tools and the willingness to help...you never know, you might be helping a friend who is hitting rock bottom. Think about this...it can be done if everyone brings whatever the can to help. Don't have another cold winter watching folks sleeping on benches or behind buildings...the people of Truro are better than that.

We’re helping vulnerable children ?? Using 10% of our crowdfund to help them access free hair styling, products & education. Here’s how it works: 1) You nominate children who might benefit from this initiative. 2) Our committee reviews the nominations to ensure those selected need them most. (The kids will get free hair styling, education, and essential products) To boost their confidence and well-being. Shoutout to our Committee Members: → Tyesha Friday: Host of Coils, Cash and Culture Podcast → Jemmar Samuels: The Halo Collective → Azaria Fraser: The Halo Collective → Emma Sijuwade: Vibes of a Black Girl → Rachel Marcelin: CURLiDthe children who will most benefit → Nikki Adebiyi: Bounce Black (thank you all for agreeing to be a part of this cause) Together, they’ll work with our partners to carefully select the children who will most benefit from our campaign’s giveback initiative. Know a young person who could benefit? Nominate them and support our campaign. Donate today—link in comments!

Change isn't easy. Especially if you are a large business. Established policies and procedures ensure a predictably of operations. Yet, these same policies and procedures are one of the top responses we get on why businesses can't donate their retiring computers to E2D - Eliminate the Digital Divide or Kramden Institute. We get it. And that is why we've worked with companies like Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Duke Energy and schools like UNC Charlotte and Appalachian State to make donating easy. Change may be difficult but knowing the computers you no longer need will be refurbished and donated to a student or family in need will make it worth it. Please donate today. #internetforall
THIS is why Kramden Institute & E2D are kicking it into high gear! We need corporations, school systems, organizations and governments to donate their retired devices to us, so we can get them back out into NC! Join this movement! Together, we can CONNECT North Carolina!

In digital marketing when you advertise some thing people don’t want it cost you a lot. Inversely when you advertise something people do want you don’t have to spend as much to get the same results. That’s why so many companies have to spend so much money shoving garbage down your throat. Nobody actually wants it.
Vice President Harris’s campaign raised twice as much as Donald Trump’s during her compressed White House run. Her donors numbered in the millions. But in the end, it didn’t matter. ??https://on.wsj.com/3UFtXaK
