“I think of myself, standing in a world that is never standing still,” the artist Robert Frank once wrote. “I’m still in there fighting, alive because I believe in what I’m trying to do now.” In the summer of 1958, after completing the work on what would become his landmark photobook, “The Americans” Frank was looking ahead, exploring new approaches to making work. It was the beginning of something new. Explore six decades of Frank’s restless experimentation across mediums in “Life Dances On: Robert Frank in Dialogue,” now open at MoMA → mo.ma/frank — All artworks by Robert Frank ? 2024 The June Leaf and Robert Frank Foundation [1] “Mabou Winter Footage.” 1977. This quote by Robert Frank perfectly captures his artistic spirit - constantly evolving and pushing boundaries! It's exciting to see MoMA's exhibition,?"Life Dances On:?Robert Frank in Dialogue," showcase six decades of his experimentation. 'The Americans' was a groundbreaking work,?and I'm eager to delve deeper into Frank's exploration of new mediums. This sounds like a must-see for any photography enthusiast!
