Waited, as many customers, for this dark theme since 2013b. MathWorks had great initial product (was a fan for many years), but always was too late to deliver new impact features (even here, the leading feature is... fonts? office 95 had this). Too late now, as all switch to python and R. At the time, I learnt MATLAB as my undergrad university (one of the best tech universities in the world) forced us to use MATLAB for lab data processing, and it was good (at the time). Now they switched to python.
Finally plain text text live scripts! Absolute must have for version control and review processes. Well done!
The 2024 a and b versions come with very good and interesting new features, but also with problems I am currently facing that are related to Java and/or graphical drivers in the LINUX distribution, especially with the last version of UBUNTU 24.04 TLS.
What about LLM integrations?
Please, add more kernels to Gaussian Process function 'fitrgp', put an eye on Pytorch's GP library. And add the proper documentation to some undocumented functions related to sampling from posterior covariance matrix. I had to dig a lot to be able to do this due the lack of documentation
Interesting! Will go through..
Looks stunning, would love to pass it along in any project.
Qué bien pinta
