Test event complete. We are ready for the first indoor The Longevity Games? in February, making fantastic use of our indoor tennis centre at GLL Delta ?? What is the Longevity Games? ??????♀?It is an event focused on promoting and celebrating longevity, good health and overall well-being. It encompasses activities such as endurance, strength, explosive exercises all geared towards improvement of quality of life. ??With so many paid for competitive events outside of Swindon, it is essential we get more of these kind of events in the town and put ourselves on the map as a sporting event destination. ??The likes of Tough Mudders, Spartans, Ironmans and Hyrox events get people active and bring money to these towns during event weekends. If you’ve ever been to Ironman Wales you’ll know what I mean… With 26.3% of our Swindon adult population doing less than 30 minutes exercise a week, we need more local opportunities to motivate and inspire people to be active. Interested to learn more and maybe even sign yourself up for the challenge!? Find out more on the website, there’s a level for everyone: https://lnkd.in/eyqjDBWi #publichealth ?? James Busby
