From our recent newsletter: A newly released survey from The Community Service Society?shows that the majority of people across the board support rent control measures, with 81% of respondents supporting rent stabilization and 78% supporting "good cause" eviction. It was found that 75% of Republican respondents answered with "definitely support" or "probably support", even though the Republican Party "remains fiercely opposed to measures like rent stabilization."?Sam Stein, a housing policy analyst with the Community Service Society, stated "Half the state are renters, and I think renters are certainly in touch with the fact that they have limited rights and are feeling the squeeze."
