Gender diversity in the workplace, it's a conversation we need to have more often! In our latest Product Weekend podcast episode, I had the incredible opportunity to chat with Simonetta Batteiger about a topic that I care about but rarely discuss publicly: gender diversity. We talked a lot about inclusion and psychological safety from different angles, but the part around gender was the one that stood out for me the most. I must admit it was challenging, venturing into a topic I'm not very knowledgeable about. But by approaching it with curiosity, it turned out to be extremely rewarding to dive deep into this issue and learn more from Simonetta, her experiences, and her research. I believe it’s crucial, especially for men, to understand the unique challenges that our female colleagues and even friends go through. These struggles often go unnoticed if we're not paying attention and a lot of unfair assumptions usually emerge. Check out this clip from our conversation.
