It was an honor to present to Western Heights High School and aid in the kickstart of their AVID program this summer! I partook in AVID throughout all four years of high school and appreciate the program's efforts to ensure unrepresented students enroll in post-secondary education. During the training, we covered: - Who the students of AVID are. - What AVID is. - The ten steps to the tutorial process. - Mock tutorials and 3 collum note-taking skills. - The development of a SMART goal.
