Just attended a great webinar hosted by Dr Stuart Desson and Mireille Watababe-Handover from Lumina Learning surrounding women in leadership and the role that empathy, and being more people focused, can play in leadership. It was fascinating to hear from experts in the field and their experiences, as well as how the 24 qualities, specifically come in to play. #luminalearning#leadership#empathy

Am doing a fascinating course on 'Global Women Leaders', who have made a mark on their time. We are studying the leadership styles of Eleanor Roosevelt, Indira Gandhi, Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher, Benazir Bhutto, Angela Merkel, Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Jacinda Ardern, Ellen Johnson and Tsai Ing-Wen. Through their biographies, memoirs, interviews and biopics - we are critically examining the following questions: 1) Do women elected as heads of state or government contribute something distinctive, different from male leaders? 2) If so, what is it? If not, what are arguments for women to be elected as global leaders? 3) What does our examination of historical women leaders say about why US hasn’t elected a woman president? #leadership #womenleaders #globalleaders
