Just attended a great webinar hosted by Dr Stuart Desson and Mireille Watababe-Handover from Lumina Learning surrounding women in leadership and the role that empathy, and being more people focused, can play in leadership. Her deep understanding of tech trends has shaped countless companies and their strategies. As a tax expert and Partner at PwC Deutschland,?Female Leadership?holds a special place in my heart. In our field – especially in M&A and advisory – I strive to help create challenging and fulfilling career paths for women. Whether it’s through internal mentoring or my involvement in the Women in M&A network, I am committed to making a difference.?? Am doing a fascinating course on 'Global Women Leaders', who have made a mark on their time. We are studying the leadership styles of Eleanor Roosevelt, Indira Gandhi, Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher, Benazir Bhutto, Angela Merkel, Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Jacinda Ardern, Ellen Johnson and Tsai Ing-Wen. Through their biographies, memoirs, interviews and biopics - we are critically examining the following questions: 1) Do women elected as heads of state or government contribute something distinctive, different from male leaders? 2) If so, what is it? If not, what are arguments for women to be elected as global leaders? 3) What does our examination of historical women leaders say about why US hasn’t elected a woman president? #leadership #womenleaders #globalleaders
