Why do we often guess our target audience? ?? ?? Let’s be real—throwing darts with your eyes closed or blindfolded is not a great idea. If branding were a game of darts, your target audience would be the bullseye, and hitting that mark is not likely if you are going at it without seeing it. Pretty obvious I know. So, rip those nieve or lazy blinders off and know exactly who you’re aiming for! Here are steps I take to get my focus on when kicking off any design... Get to Know Your People. Who are they? What do they do? What keeps them up at night (besides Netflix)? Dig deep into their demographics—age, gender, location—but don’t stop there. Psychographics matter just as much. What are their values, interests, and quirks? The more you know, the better your aim. We have no excuse to skip these steps because data is right at our fingertips. Step Into Their Shoes. This isn’t about taking a stroll; it’s about understanding their pain points, needs, and desires. What problems are they trying to solve? What makes them tick? This empathy-driven approach helps you craft a brand that feels like it was made just for them—because, well, it was. Now, Test and Refine. Think of your brand as a living, breathing thing. As your audience evolves, so should your approach. Engage with them, gather feedback, and don’t be afraid to tweak your strategy. Remember, even the best dart players miss sometimes; what matters is adjusting that throw! In the end, defining your target audience is about clarity, connection, and a little bit of common sense. Are you sure what you see is real? Many of the celebrities we see no longer exist or never existed, but thanks to the matrix system , they make them appear "where they are not", by taking their photos or video clips from a bygone era, but which seems current. Using green screen and chroma key, You shoot a scene with a compact, uniform background color so that the foreground subject can be easily separated in post-production and the background can be replaced with any color... what you see on mainstream media is not real.

What’s behind the ‘mob wife’ trend? Mob wife" is the dominant fashion look of early 2024: knowingly over-the-top, even trashy -- the tough woman who has fought her way to money and power and isn't afraid to show it off. “The Sopranos” turns 25 this year, and the “mob wife” look—big hair, fur coats, animal prints, and lots of gold jewelry—is back and trending on TikTok. While HBO denies having anything to do with the trend, “The Sopranos” likely has something to do with it as Gen Zers seek to recreate the iconic looks of characters like Carmela Soprano and Adriana La Cerva. Like any TikTok trend, the mob wife aesthetic probably won’t stick around for too long. But there are some lasting lessons for brands. What’s yours is mine:?The cyclical nature of fashion and beauty is nothing new, but as each generation rediscovers the trends of the past, they find ways to add their own unique touches to the looks. Take fur. Once a status symbol for the wealthy, wearing fur has become a controversial move as some consumers oppose cruelty to animals. But now, driven in part by the mob wife aesthetic, fur is on the rebound, but with a Gen Z twist. Fast-fashion companies are trending with with faux fur clothing that gives consumers the luxurious look at lower costs, while secondhand retailers are also offering the look at a lower cost, using the eco-friendly model to get consumers to buy real fur without the guilt. Google searches for "mobwife" have increased more than 2,000 percent in the last three months, while its hashtag has gained 161 million views on TikTok, said trend consultancy Journo Research. Much of this may be fueled by Gen Z's rediscovery of Michelle Pfeiffer's style in "Scarface", recently playing on Netflix, and amusement over Edie Falco's looks in "The Sopranos", which has been celebrating its 25th anniversary. "Griselda", a new show about a Colombian cocaine baroness in the 1970s and 1980s in Miami, has added to the hype. TikTok star Mikayla Nogueira (15.3 million followers) posted a wildly popular tutorial on how to do 'mob wife' makeup: heavy kohl around the eyes, fake eyelashes and a "dark red lipstick". The hair needs some serious volume, ideally an 80s-style perm.It is a style that has been embraced by social media favorites like Dua Lipa, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber. T Go big or go home:?After years of perfecting the “no makeup” look, consumers are swinging the other way, sporting smokey eyes, dark lipsticks, and heavy contouring and social gets a new trend.
