After a creative break, I'm back with our latest release: "How to Build a Regenerative Economy?"
I've facilitated numerous live conversations shedding light on the regenerative economy and the crucial question: How do we actually get there?
The search for an answer will never become outdated, since there is no blueprint, only the learnings and experiences of those a few steps ahead.
I had the pleasure of conversing with Anneen M., a #sustainable #community builder from South Africa, pioneer of a #regenerative #economy, and a true people person. She lives and breathes #community.
If you want to learn from her incredible wisdom, listen to our podcast on Spotify or YouTube.

2 个月I found this interview fascinating especially as it relates to the Agape Empowerment Center. One of the points Ms. Standish-White makes is that Africa is not a "one size fits all". When you look at Liberia, you understand this very well. In this civil war torn country that is on a path to recovery, international support from a financial perspective is so critical especially in the form of what Julia referred to as a "bold grant". Since we began to put the infrastructure and governance around our existing NGO through the support of our 501c3, we have been able to put very solid "blocking and tackling" procedures in place. But to take this to the next step, we will clearly need that large unrestricted gift that will act as a catalytic launching pad for the work we look forward to doing across Liberia. To this point, we are fortunate that a good number of people in the United States have come along side of us in our efforts but the megagift is what we await. One final point, it's interesting to point out that AEC is not looking to become a large nonprofit from a bureaucratic standpoint. NO, we want to be enormous from an impact perspective.
