Very proud to be part of this ambitious and wonderful project to protect 3000 acres of land for nature (and I love Joe's enthusiasm in the film)! It's a perfect example of how a business can invest in our natural environment, carbon and biodiversity. There will be future opportunities for carbon units through the Peatland Carbon code and for organisations who want to contribute simply to help give biodiversity a boost and lock carbon away. We only got this far because of the ￡5m from the Aviva fund?for the?restoration of temperate rainforest?across western Britain, donations from individuals and charitable trusts plus a philanthropic loan. Accommodation Options: If you’re still looking for a place to stay, I’ve heard that hotels in Long Beach and many Airbnb's are fully booked throughout LA County. However, Huntington Beach has several hotels with availability: Paséa Hotel & Spa Hyatt Regency Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants Shorebreak Resort Hilton Hotels & Resorts Waterfront Beach Resort These hotels are dog-friendly and staying in Huntington Beach means you’ll be in a safe area with cleaner air quality. Plus, most things you’ll need—like food, supplies, and more—are walkable from these hotels. ?? Support for Animals in Need: The fires have also taken a toll on pets and animals, with many injured and in need of urgent care. If you’re able to help, here’s how you can make a difference: A lot of companies have a match program for charitable donations. ??Donate: Organizations like Pasadena Humane are in need of monetary support to cover medical bills and care for pets in their ICU.
