Our very own sugarbeet grower, Blake Matthews, received the prestigious Environmental Stewardship Governor's Award at the Idaho Ag Summit! This well-deserved recognition honors Blake's commitment to improving air, water, and soil quality through innovative practices and technologies. Congratulations, Blake! At the summit, Blake and fellow grower, Nathan Garner also shared their expertise on regenerative agriculture in Idaho. Furthering our commitment to the industry, VP & General Counsel, Christina Hardesty and Snake River Sugarbeet Growers Association President, Zach Patterson, teamed up to represent Amalgamated Sugar and sugarbeet growers before the Idaho House and Senate Agriculture Committees, discussing key legislative priorities. The Leadership Idaho Agriculture class of 45 was also in attendance for the presentations!
