65 y.o. male with an old, non-retrievable filter presented with #DVT in the right common femoral and iliac veins extending into the IVC. Mechanical thrombectomy was performed using the Inari #T20Curve, which extracted clots of all chronicity types. A stent was placed in the iliac vein to maintain vessel patency. #FlowSaver was key in this case, as it minimized blood loss and allowed for multiple passes of the device without any concerns about patient safety. #Inari #DVT #FlowTriever #FlowSaver @InariMedical

Kudos to David Dejour and his group for conducting a long-term follow-up after trochleoplasty and MPFL-R (mean follow-up of 14.8 years (range, 10-20 years). Not surprisingly, they show high patient satisfaction, but they also demonstrate that the degree of arthrosis development is limited and without any cases of Iwano grade 3 and 4. The results must be seen in light of the fact that the condition trochlear dysplasia in itself predisposes to patellofemoral arthrosis. Trochleoplasty was initially perceived as a salvage procedure, but today we can well assume that the operation should be performed primarily when it is indicated due to severe trochlear dysplasia. #Patellainstablity #Trochleardysplasia #Trochleoplasty
