Just attended a great webinar hosted by Dr Stuart Desson and Mireille Watababe-Handover from Lumina Learning surrounding women in leadership and the role that empathy, and being more people focused, can play in leadership. It was fascinating to hear from experts in the field and their experiences, as well as how the 24 qualities, specifically come in to play. #luminalearning#leadership#empathy

This is easily one of the most powerful sessions I have attended recently. My key takeaways from this session;? ? *Lean into your own femininity and authenticity ? *Be self-aware (what is your belief system? who are you in this system?)? *Stand on the shoulders of women/Have this support system? *Accept realities of life and create a balance ? *Build your courage muscle? *Draw clear boundaries? *Stand for something ? *There is a space for everyone on the table? *Own your space? *Emotions are good in developing your gut feelings (Listen to yourself, this is what navigates you in difficult times)? *Be okay with the choices you make, and where you are at in life? *Take chances on others/uplift others/support others/speak for others/make it easier for the next person? *For magic to happen, you must be prepared? *Challenge the system? *Learn to say no/Learn to say not yet/Learn to say not now? *Intentionality is what changes everything? *We are all working progress?
