During dry periods in the Okavango Delta, water levels recede, exposing vast expanses of land and transforming the landscape. This presents challenges for wildlife, as water sources become scarce and vegetation may wilt. However, these dry phases are a natural part of the delta's seasonal cycle, and many species have adapted to survive these conditions by migrating or relying on remaining waterholes. Despite the challenges, the dry Okavango Delta can still offer unique opportunities for wildlife viewing and exploration.
