We privately reached out to Blackbird highlighting merch normalising violence against women available on TeePublic's platform. We appreciated Blackbird taking quick action in regard to child abuse themed slogans on baby onesies and helping get them down from TeePublic’s platform. Blackbird was the most engaged back then. However, after significant consideration, we feel we can’t exclude the investment firm from our call to all investors to fully divest, given the nature of the content that remains. Now we need your help to put more pressure on! Blackbird's values—"We will make our kids proud. Everything we do, we do with integrity, in a way that we’d be happy to tell our kids about"—stand in contrast to the content promoting violence against women that Articore Group profits from. ?? Cause related marketing rant: It is amazing how many "for the cause" brands, events and agencies are out there going out of their way to ask people "in the cause" to work for free so they can profit. I find this phenomenon especially pervasive in the health/wellness and women empowerment movements. If I had a dollar for every time our clients have been asked to work for free for for-profit entities who green wash and pink wash their profit centers by appearing empowering, I would actually not have to work. Just because your money is made promoting something good for the world, it doesn't mean people should sacrifice their value to increase yours. #rprt #marketing #business #paypeopleproperly #callitlikeiseeit

Queen bee syndrome is a derogatory term that describes women in positions of power who treat other women poorly: Behavior Queen bees may exclude other women, treat junior women more harshly than junior men, or refuse to help or mentor other women. They may also make disparaging remarks about other women's abilities or looks. Motivation Queen bees may feel threatened by other women who could potentially take their place. They may also believe that they've earned the right to be in their position and that they don't need to help others. Impact Queen bee syndrome can create barriers for women to succeed in their careers and decrease gender diversity in the workplace.
