Our strategic planning and technical assistance helped optimize the station’s layout, reducing the original estimated budget from €105 million to about €88.9 million. These improvements are resulting in smoother, more efficient train operations, benefiting both passengers and freight traffic.? ??????77 percent Lithuanian residents believe that the new international railway #RailBaltica is a necessary project for Lithuania. A study revealed that among the most expected benefits of the new European railway - the revival of tourism and better connections with Europe - 59 percent expect this. 33 percent of residents believe that the new railway will increase traffic safety, another 10 percent hopes that Rail Baltica will also increase the safety of the entire country.??????? "Connecting with Europe and returning to the railway map of the old continent is one of the main goals of Rail Baltica. ????A deal between European Parliament and Council negotiators on updated guidelines for the trans-European transport network (TEN-T) was approved by the Transport and Tourism Committee on Wednesday. Current TEN-T projects range from RB Rail AS | Rail Baltica connecting Helsinki and Warsaw, to the Brenner Base Tunnel, linking Austria and Italy, or the Lisbon–Madrid high-speed rail line. According to agreed text, EU countries committed to complete major transport infrastructure projects on the?core TEN-T network?by the end of 2030 and on a?comprehensive network?by the end of 2050, with the focus on eliminating bottlenecks and missing transport links. Also, the approved changes to the TEN-T network, bring Poland's development of Solidarity Transport Hub aka Centralny Port Komunikacyjny, on the list of strategic #EU investments in infrastructure. Both the new airport and the road and rail junction, which make up the Solidarity Transport Hub, become elements of the #TEN-T core network. ??Revised #solutions for Rail Baltica’s Kaunas-Vilnius section are presented! ??Residents, communities, related organisations and business representatives from #Vilnius, #Kaunas, #Elektr?nai, #Jonava, #Kai?iadorys, #Trakai and neighbouring locations are invited to participate in the spatial planning process and submit their reasoned proposals for the plan until 9?August. ??“One of the main objectives of #RailBaltica is to integrate the Baltic capitals into the European rail network as quickly as possible.
