Dr. Chaudron Carter Short, PhD, EdD, RN, NEA-BC, Executive Vice President and Chief Nurse Executive for Temple Health, was recently honored as a 2024 Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania finalist in the Nursing Administration—Senior Level/Executive category! The Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania is the highest level of recognition a nurse in the state can earn, and finalists were among more than 150 nominations across 13 award categories this year. Awardees are recognized for creating and sustaining supportive environments for the practice of nursing, initiating positive recruitment and retention strategies, and supporting professional practice models through mentoring and knowledge of the health care needs of their communities. Each finalist will be honored, and the winners will be declared, at the NAP’s 35th Anniversary Awards Gala in Harrisburg on October 25, 2024.
