Found a rusty nail in our tire yesterday. Almost sucked the air out of our LA day trip, until we heard of this shop via word-of-mouth: “Go to LA Tires for (flat) tire patches.” Say what you do upfront to pop more attention on a specific problem you solve. Couldn’t drive 200 miles back to San Diego on a flat tire. While, an emergency spare is good up to 50 miles only. It’d be worse to be stranded on a freeway than downtown LA. “Word-of-mouth” speaks to a specific vendor problem you solve for. It’s 2-3 word phrase you want to be known for — to win a faster, easier sale. (Shoutout to Reed Between The Lines ???for that road trip audio lesson) LA Tires was focused on one operation, replacing flat tires. No hassle, in and out within 15 minutes. $25 to guarantee the 200-mile drive back home. It might be easier to say your product does “everything”. Becomes harder then to be known for “something”. Be “word-of-mouth” others *want* to talk about.
