?????Three Months To Go: Changes Coming to Texas’ Vehicle Safety Inspection Program ????? Beginning January 2025, most vehicle safety inspections will be eliminated in Texas. What does this mean for you? All non-commercial vehicles will no longer need a vehicle safety inspection prior to registration. The best way to prepare is to know when your vehicle is up for registration. If it falls before January 1, 2025, the current rules still apply; if it falls after, you will be subject to the changes.
