What a perfect time to launch our research with The Disability Policy Centre and Nimbus Disability on the Power of Sport! It's time to push for change and opportunity for disabled people and those with long-term health conditions in sport in the UK. Charli Skinner, Oliver Clayton, Alex Eisenberg
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? IT’S COMING HOME! But only half of disabled football fans would have watched the game in their venue of choice last night. Pubs and stadiums not being accessible, poor communications and rife ableism still hold disabled people, and those with long-term health conditions back. Our latest research, The Power of Sport, with Soda and Nimbus Disability highlights this. You can read our report here: https://lnkd.in/ejQEAvTw Thank you to all those who took the time to speak to us, or complete our survey. Including some of our case studies Isaac Harvey MBE, Dr Kush Kanodia and Dave Rogers. Thanks to your help, we can push for change. #PowerOfSport #LifetimeOfOpportunity

As we celebrate the beauty of sports, let's also celebrate the profound impact of inclusion in creating diverse and welcoming environments. Inclusive sports environments offer more than just physical activity; they foster social skills, communication, and teamwork while instilling values of empathy, respect, and understanding among players, coaches, and spectators alike. Today, let's spotlight the importance of inclusion in sports for individuals with autism. Autism doesn't limit passion or talent; it's a unique trait that adds diversity and richness to our sporting communities. By fostering inclusive spaces, we create opportunities for individuals with autism to showcase their skills, build confidence, and form lasting connections. Let's embrace diverse abilities, encourage acceptance, and ensure that everyone has the chance to thrive in the sports they love. Together, we can break barriers, champion inclusivity, and create a world where every individual, regardless of their differences, feels welcomed and valued in the realm of sports. ?? #InclusiveSports #AutismInclusion #DiversityInSports #UnityInSports #SportsForAll #EmbraceDifferences
