According to a recent update from the state government of Kerala, more than 500 residents are dead and thousands are missing in Wayanad due to the recent frequent landslides. It’s even worse than it sounds, as the death toll is increasing rapidly.

Being responsible citizens of our country, we must come forward to offer them even the smallest help, and reassurance so that they can generate a new life ahead.?

• According to a report in the Economic Times; Kerala has faced the highest number of landslides and mass deaths between 2015 and 2022. The same report states that Wayanad has seen a similar extent of floods in 2024 as in 2019 when deep clouds were formed over the Southeast Arabian Sea.?
• Business Standard; Insurance companies have to disburse insurance claims with an immediate effect as appealed by the IRDAI. Under this ultimatum, all kinds of general and life insurance claims must be disbursed simultaneously when the claim is raised.?
