Great and deep discussions with Laura Nobel and her team on #GFLI strategy and roadmap, identifying future challenges for the feed value chain sustainability and defining potential collaboration to progress on Adisseo Sustainable Development journey. One big insight is Adisseo internal team has achieved an excellent level of expertise on LCA that will support #GFLI strategy to become the framework of the feed industry sustainability.

Meeting the sustainability team in Adisseo ? Upon invitation from Amel HOCINI, GFLI visited the Adisseo office to discuss the latest happenings within GFLI and how to collaborate further. Their team, represented by a range of expertises, provided grounds for wide discussions and a packed agenda.? ? Topics of interest discussed were e.g. data quality rating and how will it develop while there are still interpretation issues, efforts to populate the database with feed additives & forages.? ? Adisseo shared their insights on the LCAs performed on their ingredients and their outreach to their suppliers to gather primary data. With their contacts in the supply chain, it was interesting to hear their views on sectoral data compared to branded data. Downstream partners will not have notable information about brand-specific ingredients the livestock farmers are feeding their animals, emphasizing the need for quality sectoral data. Through their membership with FEFANA - Specialty Feed Ingredients, this message is also shared to facilitate the needs of a feed additives data project to populate the GFLI database with this crucial information.?? ?
