At EMOTIV, we saw this as a challenge to make neuroscience research accessible to everyone. We set out to create affordable, user-friendly tools that would enable real-world brain studies on a global scale. Today, EMOTIV technology is empowering researchers in over 140 countries, from established institutions to grassroots initiatives. We've removed the financial barriers that once limited neuroscience research, opening doors for groundbreaking studies. The breadth and depth of research enabled by our tools have surpassed our wildest expectations, proving that when we democratize science, innovation flourishes. An important collaboration agreement was signed between the Laboratory of Biology at Scuola Normale Superiore (BIO@SNS) and the International Research Center for Neurointelligence (IRCN) at the University of Tokyo. The agreement was formalized by Luigi Ambrosio, Director of Scuola Normale Superiore, Tommaso Pizzorusso, Director of BIO@SNS, and Takao Hensch, Director of IRCN. This partnership aims to: ?? Increase exchanges of researchers, students, and ideas between the two institutions. ?? Advance knowledge on the mechanisms underlying neurointelligence. ?? Launch joint projects addressing complex challenges in neuroscience research. The IRCN, founded in 2017, is a cutting-edge center exploring the development of neural circuits, related disorders, and innovative integration of human and artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, BIO@SNS focuses on molecular and cellular neuroscience, brain development, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurodegeneration, and aging.
