#Possibility_vs_Probability Making myself more Clearer to Me , A) Possibility is whether something could happen, Probability is the likelihood that it will happen: B) Possibility is Whether something could happen, without making predictions, whether it will or won't. Probability The likelihood that something will happen, often expressed as a number between zero and one. For example, when you flip a coin, the probability of landing on heads is 50%. C i) Probability is a number. Probability = A number between zero & one. Zero means impossible. One means :To happen. C ii) Probability Used in statistics, i.e "occurring at random". Ciii) Probability is stronger than Possibility. They give you more information. Di) Possibility is more qualitative. Dii) Possibility is a Qualitative method And doesn't offer specific probabilities.

One of the aspects of PBL that was discussed in the Modern PBL Webinar: Session 2 this week was in regards to ensuring that students understand the content that is covered so that they can apply that understanding well in their project. We talked about games and the importance of making formative assessments fun. I referred to the game Race to the Chairs. Here is a video that I took back in 2022 (hence why we are all wearing masks) that shows how to play this game as well as the excitement that students have while playing. Such a cool post! Perfect for an #education analogy: Let's say each "frame" represents 2 grades in school, i.e., 1st/2nd; 3rd/4th;...13th/14th, then 15th/16th. Imagine corresponding milestones in students from #k12 through #highereducation (CC or 4-year College). What a great object lesson for all who teach and/or engage [Teachers, Administrators, Coaches, etc.] young people at any level to always seek to instill perseverance within each: "Keep going [persevering] until it's [your] done [reaching your next goal]!"

What’s one question about gait mechanics or movement that you still wish you had better answers to? Even after doing over 3,000 3D gait anlaysis, there are still things I learn and wish I had better answers to. I think that is part of what makes my job so fun! Here is an example of something I learned that was surprisingly obvious that I hadn't thought of before. When we do a 3D gait analysis I look at the "Strike from Center of Mass", basically how far the foot lands in front of the body. We took over 1,000 3D files where someone had a higher value than we wanted and tried to see what the biggest predictor of being high for strike from center of mass. I was surprised by the obvious answer, but wonder if most people would have gotten it right without looking at the data. What do you think it is?! (No cheating if you took the Certified Running Gait Analyst courses and remember it from that content!) Share your own question or what you think the answer to what I learned!
