Your responsibilities include managing a dedicated team engaged in providing clinical intervention, case management, intakes, and resident oversight. Your leadership will ensure that contractual obligations are met, and outcomes are achieved, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Your goal is to elevate the reputation of our homeless services, making it a nationally recognized gold standard program. You will enforce company policies and procedures and delegate tasks as necessary to your team members. Key Responsibilities: ? Deliver Integrated Services: Implement a comprehensive service delivery approach that caters to the specific needs of the homeless population, aiming for meaningful and sustainable outcomes. ? Healthcare Coordination: Oversee the coordination of medical, psychiatric, and other health services required by residents. ? Team Leadership: Train and supervise Program Managers and Supervisors to effectively manage daily operations within the program. ? Budget Management: Maintain department budgets, with a focus on revenue generation through bed capacity management and efficient labor utilization. ? Training and Values Alignment: Ensure that the team is well-trained to provide homeless services in line with the company's values, mission, and vision as a behavioral health provider. ? Scheduling: Develop personnel schedules that enable the team to provide quality care and support services to residents, including transportation and meal delivery, while meeting documentation and administrative requirements. ? Establish a strong interdisciplinary team involving clinical, medical, administrative, case management, and vocational professionals to support residents and program success. ? Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with CARF and DCF standards. ? Resident Rights and Morale: Uphold the highest standards in protecting resident and patient rights and boosting team member morale. ? Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with company directors, referral sources, contracting agencies, and community leaders. ? Facility Maintenance: Develop procedures for facility inspections, maintenance, equipment repair, and cleaning to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff. ? Dear Stakeholders , I do understand it is a #business to which you must see profit , however I do think instead of focusing so much on filling up the beds in care homes, I think you should truly focus on filling this holistic approach / person- centred care often employees are taught and is written on paper . I have come to realisation that a handful of care homes take on more than they chew . The ratio of staffing to the needs of the residents doesn’t always match. Staffing is a really big issue across a lot of care homes the mental drain that care staff have when they are understaffed and overworked and not truly getting the support they require nor does the company truly community career development, growth work with care staff and upskill staff to explore other areas within the company just leads a massive turnover . I do think more can be done #reflecting
