The ‘chillers’ come from diverse backgrounds. Different countries, ethnicities, Rich in experiences, None particularly superior or inferior to the other. Mostly found to be curious, and enthusiastic (as you can tell from these faces). Something binds them - our home, our conversations, our culture. (I’m not making this up. Nikunj genuinely calls them the chillers and they’re literally party to our conversations at home) Organizational communication channels. Newsletters. Internal podcasts. The intranet. Whatever you may call it. Binds different team members together with shared values and goals. When correctly done, it keeps them informed about : - the marketplace, - product/ service development, - the company values, - the culture, - the team members; and lots more. How are you keeping your team engaged beyond their usual activities? Do tell or ask me about internal communications. #communications #employeeengagement #culturematters P.S - Come meet the chillers someday.

Meaningful change is about building emotional connections with people!! In our first episode of Speak to the Human, Sarah is joined by Acteon's Director and Partner James Woodman, cutting right to the chase on what we mean by 'speak to the human': building connections with people, and thinking about the humans on the other end of organisational communications and change. In true Acteon style they focus on behavioural science and how a behavioural approach can be used to help shape more effective approaches and engage people more meaningfully. This episode is packed full of juicy details and insight into making change happen: ?? Thinking about organisations as collections of people, and thinking about those individual humans and their actions as the sum of what happens in an organisation. ?? How do you use behavioural science to translate boardroom strategies into the actions that people take every day? ?? Why it doesn’t work to write a policy, post it on an intranet, and expect things to change! Please watch and comment if you are a resource-starved travel team, looking for inspiration! #createbetter #futureproof #resourceplanning
