Two reminders for anyone hiring IT managers: 1) don't have a junior bookkeeper conduct the initial job search and Zoom screen, and 2) a "manager" manages people. The manager is not a tech support associate, database administrator, or AWS/Google Cloud/M365 admin. Once again, I had an interview that lasted 2 1/2 minutes because the junior staffer failed to mention day-to-day support and database administration for a management level position.
