As the year draws to a close, our ACES teammates nationwide and globally continue to deliver outstanding fleet support across all sectors. Within the last month alone: - Both our System Configuration Set (SCS) and Hardware teams traveled to Australia, providing training to the Royal Australian Air Force’s 1st and 6th squadrons. - Over a dozen ACES Weapon System Experts (WSE) went to Ridgecrest, CA, collaborating with engineers to research changes and modifications to aircraft SCS and hardware in support of NATIP chapter development. - We have continued to expand our hardware course offerings in response to increased fleet demand, including support for additional new avionics systems. Recent recipients of our exceptional training include the Marines of VMFA-224, VMFA-112, MALS-41, and employees from Boeing's Service Life Modification (SLM) program. - Our Network Enabled Weapons (NEW) Team has broadened their offerings as well. In addition to ongoing NEW training for Marine F-35 squadrons, we recently conducted our first round of NEW U training with VFA-97 at NAS Lemoore. To our TacAir team, your dedication and daily efforts are truly impressive. For our industry partners and customers, we look forward to strengthening our role as a force multiplier. And for those who share our commitment to supporting the fleet warfighter, we’re always looking to grow our team of experts. We’ve been awarded a new 17-year contract for the provision and support of military air training solutions for the French Air and Space Force, and French Navy. As a result of this new contract, we’ll be creating more than 100 new roles in the Salon-de-Provence and Le Cannet-des-Maures regions of France, including engineers, technicians, project managers and administrators. We will deliver nearly 11,000 flight and 6,500 simulator training hours to approximately 120 students per year. The student pilots will train on 22 new PC-7 MkX Pilatus aircraft and on 12 training simulators, before they specialise as either fighter or transport pilots. Read more: https://lnkd.in/ePMJmuuS

Great day today working with John Morris at the POLYTECH SCHOOL DISTRICT’s School of Aviation Maintenance in Dover, DE! We’ve been collaborating over the last few months to bring the facility online to test applicants for the Federal Aviation Administration’s Mechanic Oral and Practical Examinations. Targeting FAA inspection and authorization early in the first quarter of 2025 and hopefully certifying the students from the February A&P Preperation Course. With local collaborations like this and Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT)’s recent contract with Civil Air Terminal At Dover Air Force Base central Delaware is doing its part to support our industry and providing opportunities for our transitioning Military folks.

New day, another task on B787 Dreamliner?? Let's take a quick review on the B787 flight deck?? One of the defining feature of the 787 flight deck, the Head Up Display (HUD), is military technology in civilian clothing. In other aircraft types, pilots fly by constantly switching their attention between the screens inside and the view outside. By displaying the information from the PFD, the HUD enables us to monitor all the flight parameters whilst simultaneously looking out of the windshield

My BS meter just went off with a red alert! I hear the administration is blaming #DEI for the American Eagle CRJ 700 and Black Hawk helicopter. Let the word go forth. 1) Has the crew been identified along with their race? Probably not but it doesn't matter. 2) At NO time have the training standards to become a #pilot, #airtrafficcontroller or #aviationmaintenancetechnicians -- the persons responsible for your safety -- been changed. NEVER. Get that? NEVER. The same is true of the military as it is for civilian qualifications. 3)That means that whoever is put in command of an #aircraft has met a very high standard and is #QUALIFIED to fly that aircraft. 4)Because they met the same standard and becauase they passed all the same tests everyone -- regardless of color, gender identification or anything else -- they were then hired on #MERIT. Stop messing with me! I hate people who play politics with #safety.

"Critical, moment-defining skills can often be associated with fields like aviation and the military, but the same principles can also apply to our Marine, Powersports, and RV dealerships. Training isn’t just about knowing the steps; it’s about executing them confidently, without hesitation. That’s the impact of consistent, hands-on training." ?? Currency is legally compliant; proficiency is safe and competent. One can be current without being proficient, but if one is proficient - they have most likely met the currency requirements. Ocean Software's FlightPRO tracks, manages, and configures currency settings for pilots, aircrew, and safety-sensitive aviation & military personnel. I am current in a flight and medical sense - but right now I am not proficient, having not flown for a few months. FlightPRO allows me to review my past performance, plan my future activities, analyse past performance & predictions, and ensure I am current and proficient as a pilot. #aviation #aerospace #pilottraining #aviationsafety #airforce #airpower

This tragedy has nothing to do with politics and politics shouldn't enter the conversation. I agree with Kathryn Creedy in saying that regardless of anyone's position on #DEI, it has nothing to do with this accident. I have the greatest respect for all our airline pilots (including Allied Pilots Association, Air Line Pilots Association, AOPA), all military pilots (Army Aviation Association of America), Flight Attendants (including Association of Flight Attendants-CWA and Association of Professional Flight Attendants - APFA), Airline Mechanics and the Federal Aviation Administration Air Traffic Controllers...and ALL who are associated with #aviation, whether it be civilian (Airlines for America) or our military (United States Department of Defense). Allow the National Transportation Safety Board to find the cause(s) and then all parties can ensure that this never happens again. Through tragedy, we can learn and be better. In the meantime, have respect for the families and friends of all of those who were lost...they deserve that. #safety #pilots #respect #FA's #qualified #training #ATC #proud #focus #prayers #NBAA

US Air Force and Boeing have agreed to adjust aspects of the T-7A Red Hawk training aircraft acquisition agreement. ??? The prime will take a step back from producing fully fledged units. Instead, Boeing will deliver four Production Representative Test Vehicles, or PRTVs. This will allow the supplier to meet the sustainability and safety needs of the user, Air Education and Training Command, the oldest major command in the USAF. https://lnkd.in/eQFjeJTX

The Navy's Bold Move: Relying on Simulators for F-35 Training The US Navy is investing heavily in simulation training for its F-35 pilots, addressing a critical gap in their current capabilities. Unlike other aircraft, F-35s struggle to integrate into live-virtual-constructive (LVC) training environments, limiting their engagement with essential tactical scenarios. To bridge this gap, the Navy plans to deploy high-fidelity Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) simulators at key training facilities. These simulators will provide a realistic training experience, allowing pilots to engage with advanced threats and scenarios that are otherwise difficult to replicate in live exercises. Currently, the Navy's existing training resources can’t fully accommodate the unique capabilities of the F-35, which requires larger, more complex ranges for effective training. The rollout of JSE simulators is expected to transform training methodologies, enhancing the operational readiness of F-35 aviators. As the Navy prepares to implement these solutions, the focus remains on ensuring that pilots receive the most effective training possible, equipping them to face modern challenges. Feel free to share your thoughts and engage with this important topic. Let's drive the conversation forward! Navy F-35s can’t play well with others, so the service is betting big on sims
