Artificial intelligence can help prepare you to show two key traits in interviews: competence and warmth, which helps you come across as someone people?want?to work with. Career coach Jeremy Schifeling writes in CNBC Make It that AI can help polish those human qualities. He recommends creating likely behavioral questions by dropping the job description into a chatbot and asking it to generate 10 questions. Direct the chatbot to create an answer for each behavioral question using the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method. Then, rework the base answer to fit your tone and check it for accuracy. (Response to list of standard interview questions) Actually its because of charts like this that when I do interviews I completely skip these sorts of questions. There are standard questions with standard answers and that turns out to be kind of a waste of time for both me and the interviewee. When I do an interview its about 75 percent technical (what skills do they have) and 25 percent cultural fit (is this someone that I can work with). The other thing that I like is the "Goldman-Sach quant interview". So what they do is to start by a given question, and ask increasingly hard questions until the question at the end is impossible. The point of the interview is less to see how much you know, then how you behave under extreme stress, and when you are pushed to the limit of your knowledge. Also typically with these sorts of interviews, the interview asks a math problem, and then modifies the problem so that it the standard answer is not on google or in a databank. One thing that I found interesting about the GS interview system is that it kind of defeats AI.
