MPU 3432 Daya Usaha dan Inovasi, Creative Photography 2 Assignment 1: Element of Photography This photograph captures a chandelier from Masjid Daerah Lundu, where this is a directly upward perspective, showcasing its symmetrical and radial design. The centered composition emphasizes balance and harmony, with straight lines extending from the hub to the outer ring guiding the viewer's eye. The circular shapes of the chandelier's elements create a cohesive pattern, enhanced by the warm color tones and contrasting textures of the materials. Soft, even lighting ensures clarity, allowing the intricate details of the chandelier to stand out against the neutral background.

MPU 3432 Daya Usaha dan Inovasi, Creative Photography 2 Assignment 1: Element of Photography I captured this detailed image of a textured concrete wall corner during our subteras projek khas months ago. The photo emphasizes the rough, uneven surfaces and the interplay of light and shadow that accentuates the gritty texture of the concrete blocks and mortar. The composition draws attention to the tactile quality of the materials, highlighting the raw, unfinished state of the structure.

Capturing stunning silhouette photography at night opens up a world of artistic possibilities! ?? Start by choosing a strong subject against a light source, like street lamps or city skylines. Remember, low light works best with a wide aperture (f/2.8 or lower) to create that dreamy effect. Adjust your ISO to avoid graininess, but keep it low to maintain clarity. Use manual mode to control exposure—underexpose by 1-2 stops for rich silhouettes. Experiment with angles and compositions to find unique perspectives. Finally, play with post-processing to enhance contrast and detail! #PhotographyLovers #InstaPhotography #BeginnerPhotographer #ProPhotographer #LearnPhotography #PhotoTips #PhotographyCommunity #CreativePhotography #PhotoChallenge #CameraSkills #PhotographyJourney

FRAME OR PLINTH? How I like to display Ambrotype Portraits. As a portrait photographer and an enthusiast of fine crafts, I always advocate for preserving and showcasing photography in the finest manner, favouring elegantly framed portraits over digital storage, where they fall into obscurity. However, when it comes to ambrotypes, my preference shifts slightly. Although I admire these portraits beautifully framed, displaying them on wooden plinths (as shown in the image) is particularly captivating and more effectively emphasises their inherent nature. Placing a silver portrait on a high-quality plinth does not merely showcase the photograph but also draws attention to the tactility of an ambrotype—the actual glass plate. This subtle detail might pass unnoticed when placed within a traditional frame, with its uniqueness remaining concealed. A plinth presentation transforms an ambrotype portrait into a visual masterpiece; a tangible artefact that demands attention and, due to its fragile nature, reverence. This is how every unique story captured in an ambrotype deserves to be appreciated. www.ambrotypista.london

I’ve always believed that great photography isn’t just about what you see it’s about what you feel. This Naturewall shot is a reminder of how light, composition and texture come together to create a mood. The warm glow of the lamp, the subtle textures, the contrast of soft and structured elements it all works to tell a quiet, intimate story. It’s the little details that turn a simple image into something that resonates. For me, photography is less about perfection and more about capturing an atmosphere. What’s your approach to creating mood in your shots? #Photography #VisualStorytelling #InteriorPhotography #Lighting #interiordesign #naturewall

??&?? ?????????????????????? ????? Black and white photography brings a sense of timelessness and elegance to your photos that never goes out of style. This classic approach enhances a variety of subjects, from striking portraits to vast landscapes. ???????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ??&?? ???? Turning a photo to black & white doesn’t automatically make it better, but it can handle tricky lighting. If color is central to the image’s story, converting to black & white may lose its essence – so use this option with intention. ???????????????????????? ???? B&W works well with geometric shapes. It draws attention to the lines and texture. ?????????? ?????????????????? ???? B&W works beautifully with urban scenes, capturing the essence of city life with a dramatic, timeless touch. ???????????????? ?????? B&W works well with portraits. Especially close-ups of facial expression and clothing fabric. By the way: With Neurapix, you can easily create your own B&W SmartPreset: Just add at least 20 B&W images (edited in your style) to your SmartPreset and an additional B&W SmartPreset will automatically be created for free! ?? by Christophe Serrano - merci! #blackandwhite #photography #monochrome

Hey graphic design and photo peeps! What is this type of photography technique or style called when you pull out all of the color from a portrait and just see the black key features? I'd like to make a t-shirt with someone else's face (!) that resembles this classic Jimi print but need to know what the technique is called. Up to half my kingdom for further guidance how to actually edit a photo to that style. Thx!

Extreme Backlit Photography The golden hour is perfect for capturing stunning extreme backlit photos. During this time, the high amount of natural sunlight creates beautiful silhouettes against a glowing backdrop. This type of photography offers several unique effects: - Depth: It emphasizes the depth behind the subject, creating a profound sense of place. - Dramatic Effect: It creates a striking contrast between the subject and the background, especially powerful in portrait photography. - Natural Light: Shooting during sunrise or sunset maximizes the use of natural light, allowing us to fully enjoy and capture the beauty of the sun. While not everyone is a fan of this style, I absolutely love it. Do you use the sun to create extreme backlit photos?
