?? Today is Human Rights Day – But Shouldn’t Every Day Be? Human rights are not seasonal. They are not a privilege to be celebrated once a year—they are fundamental, inherent, and non-negotiable for every person, everywhere. Women, men, boys, girls, children, and individuals of all genders and denominations deserve to live freely, without fear or oppression. They deserve the right to exist, thrive, and express themselves fully. But why do we need just one day to remind us of this universal truth? Every single day, people in power must be held accountable. Every single day, systems of injustice must be challenged. Every single day, we must commit ourselves to upholding the dignity and equality of all people. Let today serve as a reminder to do better—not just for today, but for all days. Let’s push for a world where human rights aren’t celebrated as a calendar event but lived as a daily reality. To those in power: the time to put people’s rights at the forefront is now. Cheating is a topic that people often talk about in whispers or with uncomfortable looks. A recent article called Comparison of Indirect and Direct Approaches to Identifying an Unfaithful Partner sheds some light on this sensitive subject. When people were asked directly, 37% of men and 22% of women admitted to cheating. This matches what other studies have found. Interestingly, the difference between men and women who cheat is getting smaller, showing that society's attitudes are changing over time. #RelationshipDynamics #InfidelityResearch

Words Matter: End the Silence In my work developing gender-responsive communication modules, I always emphasize this: ‘words matter’. How we talk about issues shapes how people see it. Too often, reports soften the reality, saying women “died” from intimate partner violence when, in truth, they were murdered. Athletes like Agnes Tirop in 2021 and Rebecca in 2024 weren’t just victims—they were powerful women who defied patriarchy, and their success was met with violence because they broke barriers.
