Green jobs, as defined by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), are positions in agriculture, manufacturing, R&D, administrative, and service activities aimed at preserving or restoring environmental quality. ?? In short, these jobs focus on protecting and promoting the environment and always consider their impact on the planet's health, striving to minimize it. An added benefit is their positive impact on the global economy. The ILO warns that without change, future employment growth won't meet the workforce growth in developing countries. However, changes in energy production and use to achieve the 2°C target could create around 18 million jobs globally by advocating for green jobs. This shift, in line with the Paris Agreement, includes more renewable energy, electric vehicles, and energy-efficient building projects. ?????
