Knowing where the planet’s carbon emissions come from is the first step toward eliminating them and eventually reaching net zero.
Insightful
So far my knowledge is concerned, it will be well being for all if we stop manufacturing and buildings for the certain period because in Asia and some European country has grown a nonsense culture that is filling the ponds, wail and randomly cutting the trees.if you ask then only one answer will come that we are making multystored building for human being, including park, shopping complex, swimming pool etc, etc. Therefore, we are suffering from various type of life risk disease mostly less amount of oxygen and huge percentage of Co2 is inhelled by all human being . If trees are there this present situation might not come. Global warming, Macropores of ozone layer is increasing in daily basis. We have to stop some percentage from manufacturer of coal mine center, AC manufacturer as in burning it gives carbon monoxide, CFC which is responsible various types of oncogenic dease and the host of the germ is human body.Very truely some of the percentage we have to take from each segment given above as because globally we have a homo sapiens heart and brain. Thanks, to all the commentator and heartily Mr. Bill Gets. With regards, shovan Banerjee. I have a big wish to meet Bill Gates sir. shovan14175 @gmail.com
I believe that if we stopped all wars around the world, climate change and global warming would come to an end. Why? The simple answer is that the amount of carbon emissions, deliberate fires, deforestation, and the poisoning of water and air with toxic chemical gases (such as sarin gas) during wars negatively impact humans first, living creatures second, and the entire planet overall. The more wars occur worldwide, the worse global warming and climate change become. Wars around the world must be stopped.
Understanding the origins of carbon emissions is not just about data, it’s about responsibility. ?? Every ton of CO2 has a story: the industries, activities, and systems that produce it. By identifying these sources, we empower ourselves with the knowledge to act. Transitioning to net zero isn’t a single leap - it’s a series of deliberate, informed steps, grounded in transparency and innovation. Awareness is the foundation of accountability. Whether it’s rethinking energy production, revolutionizing transportation, or transforming consumption patterns, the journey to a sustainable future begins with clarity.
Interesting
You know, maybe its time to consider looking into a public/private partnership in Carbon conversion tech, as opposed to carbon capture. If a facility could exist in a manufacturing district where all exaust is pressurized and funneled to a vertical farm that grows one of those bioreactor algae’s you could turn a profit from the oxygen you produce, and the protein supplements from the algae harvested. Use solar to power uv leds and pressurise the farm to enhance the speed of growth.

2 个月Bill doesn't identify one very critical source of carbon emissions. The destruction of peatlands for horticultural use. This could be easily reduced by banning the use of peat in our gardening/farming practices. The UN stated in 2007, that the cheapest and most efficient way to reduce climate change is to stop using peat. Several European countries are doing just that. Famous Kew Gardens is 98% peat free or completely peat free. Ireland has stopped using Bord Na Mona as a peat extracting company and directing it towards more environmentally practices. 87% of the peat used in the USA comes from Canada. The peat extractors like to say it's only 2% of Canada's peat. That doesn't sound like much until you start looking at how much that is. Canada has the second largest amount of peat. Russia has more. It's the burning of peat in our northern forest fires that makes them so furious and so difficult to stop. Some of that peat goes down 12 feet or more. Once fire gets into peat, it gets methane and carbon dioxide free. Methane is about 20 times worse than carbon dioxide. So folks, this is something you can do in your backyard to stop climate change. "For peat's sake, don't use peat!"
