Rocking Fashion and Luxury with Innovation|Luxury C-Suite|Author and Columnist|Fashion and Luxury Higher Education Director
What is #luxury? Luxury is long lasting. Is crafting items that stay over time. It takes time to create a luxury item, and lots of craft. Its shape is timeless and it integrates beauty and refinement and longevity. Luxury is handmade. And it is a forever statement. Like the Cartier Panthere diamond bracelet. Like the Hermès scarf and Kelly bag. Like a roaring Ferrari or a silent Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Like a stay at the Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco Like a glass of Ruinart Like a Patek Philippe watch Like a Loro Piana coat Like a CHANEL haute couture dress. As I write in my book “Luxury Unlocked”, luxury is made to last, #fashion is made to entertain.
Ok - the Ruinart finally convinced me!! … & I’d include my handmade kilts (although more specifically for Scots!!).
Don't forget us boys ?? ASTON MARTIN DB5 ?? ROLEX Submariner ??
let me add Luxury is an experience not only a product. It's about what you feel when you buy a certain product at a certian place. That's why luxury invest a lot on the selling ceremony
Thanks Susanna Nicoletti. Both the Stones and luxury can say "Time is on my side". Quite a different story for fashion, isn't it?
Dear Madame Susanna, I'm agrre with You about Luxury. I think that now we're going into a world that wants Super Luxury, the new generations of rich people have great attention to quality and the search for timeless products. Handmade is important and the excellence of the union of new technologies creates unique products, transporting our heritage into the future.
I am biased, but i would add like a Brioni bespoke tuxedo ;)
I like your quote at the end of this post. Well said ??
For me Susanna Nicoletti luxury is a dream that comes true !
Luxury transcends time.

9 个月I disagree unfortunately. You’ve provided a wish list that is out of reach for 99% of the people reading this post. My idea of luxury is being attended to by a smiling host or an enthusiastic and engaging member of staff. The ones who show an interest. The little touches, folding an item with care and wrapping it in tissue paper. A supermarket cashier helping you pack your bag. Someone saying hello. That’s luxury.
