Instead of standing up and eating your kids leftover food scraps (I was definitely guilty of this) sit down with them and model eating whole foods. My girls loved picking food off of my plate so I’d always loaded up on the good stuff, knowing they’d eat half of it ?? 2?? You can get fat from eating too much processed food, but not fruit.
