Woo! We turned two! It’s not often we reflect on how much we’ve achieved but we’re pretty darn proud of some of the goals we’ve kicked over the last year. We’re a small team that’s doubled in size and we’ve worked on some huge projects for clients across the state including on declared mine rehabilitation plans and Environmental Effects Statements, as well as supported clients on smaller projects including establishing and reactivating community reference groups. We’re proud to continue to work alongside our incredibly valued clients, some new and some who’ve been with us since day one (and even beyond that when Loretta and Laura were yet to join forces!). When we think about what we do so well, we’re really a sum of our parts. We’ve got a collective 80 years’ worth of experience across resources, infrastructure, government, project management, communications and engagement. We apply this knowledge to clients’ projects in considered, tailored ways that ensures our work is fit for purpose – there are no off-the-shelf solutions here. In fact, we thrive on being presented with new challenges and needing to draw on creative, innovative solutions. We also like to think of ourselves as nimble: small enough to be drawn in for short bursts of time yet large enough to dedicate months – or even years – to projects. So (a belated) happy birthday to us! We can’t wait to see what the next 12 months brings and look forward to helping even more clients deliver positive outcomes for their organisations, the environment and communities alike. Day 2 of our project kick-off meeting was a valuable opportunity to dive deeper into the project's scope and objectives! ?? Project partners took the stage to share their policy instruments, highlighting key challenges and opportunities in their respective regions. From state of aid updates to regional issues, it was interesting to learn about the experiences. ?? Field Day Wednesdays, a Look Ahead. Wednesdays have become my go-to field days. Today was another productive one, with visits to three key projects in the pipeline. There’s something invaluable about stepping on-site, seeing the progress, and planning for what’s to come. We spent time reviewing outcomes and strategies, and I’m excited about what these projects will bring in the near future.
