Job Description
Overview: As an Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within industrial facilities, construction sites, or commercial buildings. Your role involves leading a team of electricians, technicians, and contractors to ensure the safe and efficient execution of electrical projects. You will coordinate with engineering teams, project managers, and clients to meet project deadlines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Coordination:Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and clients to review project plans, specifications, and schedules for electrical installations, upgrades, or repairs.Develop work plans, construction schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure timely completion of electrical projects within budget and scope.Coordinate with procurement teams to procure materials, equipment, and supplies required for electrical installations and maintenance activities.Team Leadership and Supervision:Lead and supervise a team of electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project requirements.Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor work progress to optimize productivity, efficiency, and resource utilization.Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and job site inspections to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance with regulatory requirements.Electrical Installation and Maintenance:Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control panels, and electrical equipment, according to engineering drawings and specifications.Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical systems and equipment to identify and resolve electrical faults, malfunctions, or deficiencies.Quality Assurance and Control:Implement quality control measures, inspection procedures, and documentation protocols to verify the quality and integrity of electrical installations and connections.Perform electrical testing, insulation resistance testing, and continuity checks to verify compliance with design requirements and industry standards.Document inspection results, maintain records of electrical installations, modifications, and repairs, and ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.Safety and Regulatory Compliance:Enforce safety policies, procedures, and practices to mitigate electrical hazards, prevent accidents, and promote a safe working environment for personnel involved in electrical operations.Investigate electrical incidents, near misses, and safety violations, and implement corrective actions and preventive measures to prevent recurrence.Client Communication and Reporting:Serve as a point of contact for clients, contractors
