About 5 weeks ago, Change Healthcare experienced a massive #cyberattack. Change’s platform touches about one-third of all patient records processed annually. To limit the impact, Change?immediately disconnected its systems, and as a result, hospital systems were not able to send or receive claims information through Change’s clearinghouse platform. ? The repercussions of the Change Healthcare cybersecurity attack impact participants across the health care system, from the patient trying to refill a prescription to large health systems and payers trying to process and pay claims. This incident exposes incredible vulnerabilities across the entire industry: delaying or disrupting patient care, burdening employees with increased manual workloads; jeopardizing financial solvency of providers of all sizes. $872 Million loss in Q1 due to the cyber attack on Revenue of $99.8 Billion = 0.8% hit on the total revenue. When you put it in perspective it feels like something they can manage just fine. This disparity is even more pronounced in low- and middle-income countries. Healthcare systems must elevate cybersecurity investments and adopt robust measures like two-factor authentication. In my own opinion, I believe that as a non digitized intelligence, that the FRONT line war with cybersecurity starts at the formality level. If the was a way I could implement a, "Plant a seed to expose comorbidities" in the Imperative acceptance of the string of questions that foster the root system of cyber attacks on the public. A way to "Force flower" digital progression of targeted society by harvesting intentions by willful neglect due to "Financial gain, and poor education of binary warfare.
