I manage a team and the daily activities of the warehouse. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and evaluation of inventory. 3. What do you enjoy most about your work? I enjoy creating processes and root causing issues to generate a more efficient workspace. 4. What do you like most about CPM? We are a global company, but it can feel like we operate on a smaller scale. We don’t have all the red tape that large companies tend to have to accomplish goals. 5. What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy running, kayaking, and hiking with my family and pup. There is nothing better than a beautiful day outside. Early on, they’ll start learning the basics of inventory management and gain exposure to various Warehouse Management Systems and other software used to optimize operations. A typical progression path in logistics and warehousing may look like this: 1. Start as a Warehouse Operative, Picker/Packer, or Forklift Operator. 2. Progress to roles such as Logistics Coordinator or Inventory/Stock Controller. 3. Move into supervisory roles like Warehouse Supervisor or First Line Manager. 4. Advance to senior positions in Warehouse or Distribution Management.
